CityNews – Big Cleaning Day in San Sai after following three deaths from Zika virus in Chiang Mai. A total of 2,933 people nationwide have been reportedly infected.
On September 9th, Adul Huaknin, Head of San Sai District lead over 500 people to join together in the Big Cleaning Day to destroyed breeding areas of aegypti mosquitos, the carriers of Zika virus and Dengue fever in San Sai area. After eleven people were reported to be infected in San Sai District, the head has mobilised the population to do their best to drain all possible habitats for carriers.
The Big Cleaning Day(s) will last 28 days in total.
