Reckless Hit and Run Driver Found

CityNews – After CCTV footage of a white super car swerving out of the popular Nimmanaemin club, Warm Up Café, hitting a motorcycle and then speeding away from the scene went viral, police launched an investigation and identified the man, originally from Bangkok.

The video clip, originally shared by a Facebook User named Anusorn BallProud Lumnugnat, shows a white super car swerving out of the club before winding across both lands before hitting a motorcycle. Immediately after the collision, the driver failed to stop and accelerated away from the scene at high speed.

According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Burachat Khamkam of Phuping Rajanivej Police Station, the incident happened on June 7.

Three people were injured in the accident and were taken to hospital.

After extensive investigation, the police have identified the driver and the car, a Toyota Supra, registered to Bangkok.

The man admitted his crime and has arranged to meet with the three injured victims to discuss an out of court settlement.

He also admitted to careless driving, causing injuries, fleeing the scene and not taking responsibility.

The three victims are now recovered with no permanent injury.
