CityNews- Late on 9th July, Pol.Maj. Klerkchai Kitti reported that a drunken man got a cramp and died while swimming in the Jang Sri Poom moat.
He was identified by friends and authorities as 50-year-old Chachavan Chansawang. His friends said that Chachavan jumped in the moat without thinking and was quickly overcome by the cold water and couldn’t help himself out.
His body has been sent to Maharaj Nakorn Chiangmai Hospital for a Forensic Autopsy.
