Mae Kha Canal Dredging ‘Going Well’

CityNews – Mae Kha Canal dredging project is ‘going well’, according to Supreme Commander.

On June 11th, General Thanchaiyan Srisuwan, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces visited the Mae Kha Canal dredging project’s site in Pa Tan along with local authorities. The project has been divided into four areas including Chiang Mai Municipality, Superhighway, 700th Anniversary Stadium and Pa Daet.

Around 3,500 metres of canals in Chiang Mai have been reportedly restored already.

General Thanchaiyan stated to the press that, with cooperation from many sectors, the project has been going well and has overcome several difficulties faced during the task. The majority of the restoration projects to set to be completed within a month and aims to help relieve the flood issues we see most rainy seasons.
