Kan Air to Offer Free Flights for Mae Hong Son Patients to Visit Chiang Mai Hospitals

CityNews – Kan Airlines has announced that it will be offering free seats to any resident in Mae Hong Son who wishes to see a doctor in Chiang Mai from February to August 2016.

The Kan Airlines official Facebook page posted on February 8 that any resident of Mae Hong Son who can produce proof of address and a document provided by hospitals or the local municipality that state they require treatment in one of Chiang Mai’s hospitals, will be give two free return seats on the daily ATR flight from Mae Hong Son Airport to Chiang Mai International Airport.

Along with the offer, Kan Airlines have noted that people flying to visit Chiang Mai hospitals must be able to board and sit on the plane like normal passengers and if their illness in infectious, they must be fully checked and certified as safe to other people on the flight before they can fly.

Kan Airlines are also offering a service where they will transport breast milk from mothers to children via all air routes.

The airline has been transporting medical equipment and drugs for free to all destinations they fly for over five years already.
