CityNews – Police arrested a Hungarian man after complaints that a foreigner had stolen an iPhone 6 from Nidnoi Mobile Shop and escaped on motorcycle on July 9.
After police studied the CCTV evidence, they traced the man and identified him as 44-year-old Adtila Karnto from Hungary.
He was arrested by police and admitted that he stole the phone saying that he didn’t want to go back to his own country and loved Chiang Mai so wanted to find a way to have money and stay.
Police seized the phone and his Honda motorcycle as evidence.
The case is ongoing.
