CityNews – June 15, the Foundation To Encourage Disabled Persons (FEDP) delivered seven wheelchairs (six for adults and one for a child) to a small rural village in Nan Province.
The FEDP team took the 12 hour round trip up some of Thailand’s highest mountains, through rainstorms, to deliver wheelchairs to the most needy. The team received great local cooperation and met some very gutsy disabled persons eager to learn.
The organisation has so far donated 5,300 wheelchairs to those in need in the north of Thailand.
