CityNews – On July 27, a drunk man was beaten up by local villagers in Chiang Dao after he was looking for trouble and threatened them with a knife, according to police reports.
Police arrived on the scene mid-attack after patrolling the area, where 41-year-old Karn Sudthasang was left beaten up while a group of villagers fled the scene.
According to witnesses, Karn was drunk and carrying a knife and disturbing the peace, looking for a fight. He began swearing at villagers who then attacked him because they were angry.
Karn was injured and taken to hospital, and the police are continuing their investigation into who attacked the man.
