CityNews – Assistant Professor and Vice-President for strategy at Maejo University, Pawin Manochai, presided over the new “Cycling: Love the World” project hosted by the Faculty of Liberal Arts last Saturday.
The project aimed to support the use of bicycles day to day in Chiang Mai and how to ride, maintain and use bicycles correctly. Saving energy and becoming more eco-friendly was a major theme throughout the day.
The project also conducted a joint cycling event, with many cyclists joining and rode around a designated route in the Maejo municipality.
Research studies, bicycle use for the elderly, safe behaviour, traffic rules and other cycling related talks were also presented to those who attended the event.
