CityNews – 26th July, Chiang Mai authorities, following an order from Aruk Phrommanee, Director General of the Department of Employment, examined a construction site in Mae Rim, as per government policy to arrest illegal alien labours in Thailand. This arrest came after they a report that there was a group of alien labourers working illegally.
The authorities found 18 alien labourers working illegally and all were arrested and await prosecution under the law.
