CityNews – An illegal online gambling business, allegedly generating over 100 million baht per month in profits, was raided in San Kamphaeng on June 21st.
Police raided the football based online gambling hideout in Ton Pao, San Kamphaeng on June 21st, arresting 15 suspects and seizing a wealth of evidence such as bank statements, computers and TV monitors. Bank books were also found, showing the operation had over 4 million baht in cashflow per day, generating over 100 million baht in profits per month.
The operation was run out of several rented houses, with a full working team of accountants, marketing staff, admins and supervisors who oversaw the gambling. Police told the press that the website had around 5,600 members who will all be investigated.
