Kaewkaw Na ChiengMai

takes Spoon&Fork to her favourite fried wonton stall

Kaewkaw Na ChiengMai is the owner of Sandwichman of Chiang Mai, a popular catering service used by many companies and government agencies for large events. This month she takes Spoon&Fork to her favourite fried wonton stall.

β€œI love fried wontons and scour the city for the best, which I am happy to say is right in front of Sacred Heart College,” she explained, while taking a crunchy bite. β€œIt is the generous filling of shitake mushrooms, ground pork, cabbage, vermicelli noodles and peppers wrapped in a wonton which stays crisp and crunhy for ours that makes this my favourite.”

Tookta, the owner of this little stall says that she has been selling her specialty wontons for thirty years and is proud of the special tamarind sauce which is her own recipe.
