Flight of the Gibbon Tree Planting at Mae Kampong

A total of 2,250 saplings were planted in Mae Kampong by over 100 volunteers. This is the second tree planting activity of the year with another activity to be held later this year. The event was supported by Flight of the Gibbon’s staff, members of the public and national park officers Mae Kampong villagers, the National Park staff, members of the public, government officials, travel agents, volunteers, media and Forest Restoration Unit (FORRU) Chiang Mai University. The area is under the control of Mae Takhrai National Park and Chae Son National Park which is water source of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Overall Flight of the Gibbon aims to plant 20,275 trees in 2018.
