CityNews – A woman accidently drove into the moat.
On the morning of March 15th, a rescue team responded to an accident report near the old city moat. The driver was a 25 year old woman whose car was submerged in the moat. She stated that she was on her way to work at Suan Dok Hospital and was about to make a U-turn. She was reportedly startled when her wheel hit the footpath making her accelerate the car and ending up in the moat. She was rescued from the car by a bypasser. There was no injury. Her car has been removed from the moat.
