Student Rage After her Sculpture Destroyed

CityNews – A student demanded punishment for the person responsible for demolishing her sculpture.

A Fine Arts student at Chiang Mai University wrote on her Facebook post that her work has been ruined by random strangers. The post has since gone viral on social media. Sasitorn Kanchanwong, the student, explained that she was working on a sculpture for her class. Her work was left unfinished before she went on a trip to Phayao. When she got back, her sculpture had been ruined. She demanded the faculty show her its CCTV footage and that the person responsible be held accountable. She stated that she was not the only victim, claiming that similar incidents have happened before. Her post has received over 700 comments with over 6.5k shares within a day.

Today, January 29th, she stated she has talked with the person responsible. She did not reveal the identity of the person and stated it was the “reckless incident”.
