CityNews – Thailand has officially entered the rainy season, according to the Thai Meteorological Department.
The recent downpours have started to cause damage and electrical cut-outs across the city, with Om Koi and Chom Thong most affected. On May 29th a van that was heading to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep crashed into a roadside tree after skidding on the wet road. No injuries were reported.
According to the Thai Meteorological Department, Thailand has officially entered the rainy season and that Northern Thailand will see many more thunder storms in the coming months.
