CityNews – A man was shot after reneging on a Ponzi scheme.
On the February 4th, a 27 year old man was shot near the Buak Krok Market in Nong Pa Khrang. The shooter was Kritsana Kusima, 29, who was with his friend Cholchid Khumkaew, 22. Both of them turned themselves in with the a gun as an evidence. Kritsana, the shooter, reported that his girlfriend is a leader of a Ponzi scheme in the area. The victim had stolen 29,000 baht and had been avoiding them for three months. They reportedly tracked him down to the market where the victim was selling grilled fish. During debt collection, they argued and the dispute got violent.
