CityNews – Elderly man hit by drunk driver while taking a leak on the roadside.
On the night of March 3rd, a 68 year old man was found gravely injured on the roadside of Doi Saket-Chiang Mai Road in Doi Saket District. Witnesses stated that the man was on his way to a friend’s house and was stopping for a nature’s call on the roadside when a pickup truck rammed into him at high speed. The 32 year old driver’s name has not been reported. He was reportedly under the influence of alcohol. The injured man died at the hospital later that night. Police are now prosecuting the case.
