CityNews – A Korean man committed suicide by jumping off the building at a shopping mall.
On the afternoon of November 11th, a man was found seriously injured from falling from a great height at Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center. After checking with CCTV records, the man who is identified as a South Korean, 45, had jumped from the 5th floor of the mall. The incident was witnessed by a cleaner who was on duty.
The investigation unfolded that he had been appointed to a position in a tour agency in Chiang Mai before moving here with his wife.
He survived the jump but later died at the hospital. Police have notified the South Korean Consul and are investigating for cause of the suicide.
