CityNews – Illegal logs hidden under piles of corn cobs were found.
On February 8th, police and local authorities visited Ban Mae Na Chon, Mae Chaem after receiving a report on illegal logging in the area. At the reported corn plantation, over 50 logs and 300 pieces of processed wood were found hidden. The authorities needed a tractor to dig up the corn to the logs. There are reportedly other crop plantations that are the hiding places of illegal logging in Mae Chaem.
