CityNews – According to the Ministry of Public Heath, the number of Dengue Fever cases in Thailand has reduced by 28% compared to 2015.
The information first published in the Journal of the Vector – Borne Diseases reported that by week 24 of the year 2016, there were 19,620 dengue patients this year, a reduction of 28% from 2015.
The reduce in cases was put down to keeping homes clean, keeping trash and keeping containers closed or empty of water. The late rainfall may have a contributing factor to the results too.
