CityNews – Cherry blossoms are in full and spectacular bloom
at Baan Khun Chang Khian atop Doi Suthep-Pui mountain range and is drawing in the big crowds.
On the 18th January 2019 there were reports that the temperatures had dropped dramatically which led the cherry blossoms on top of Doi Suthep to go into bloom. The blossoms are expected to go into full bloom by early February and will last for only around a fortnight…just in time for Valentine’s Day.
As tourists and locals head up to take photographs or pitch their tents, authorities ask everyone to please drive carefully, refrain from littering and to respect the environment.
