CAMT Joins Hand with Digital Ventures to Advance Student Competence

CityNews – CAMT CMU joined forces with Digital Ventures for a programme to enhance student competence.

College of Arts Media and Technology (CAMT), Chiang Mai University together with Digital Ventures, a subsidiary of The Siam Commercial Bank announced its latest project today, January 7th. The project is aimed to advance students’ competency in the digital market. Asst. Prof. Pitipong Yodmongkol, Ph.D, the Dean of the college, stated that the model is to integrate the academic curriculum with hands-on experience. This will allow the selected students to get a chance at an internship at Digital Ventures which will lead to possible employment after graduation.

Other than internship opportunities, the project also includes improving the curriculum and running a boot camp. Orapong Thien-ngern, Director and Member of the Technology Committee of Digital Ventures stated that the company will support the project on the financial part and provide experts to the aid the project while also help curate a curriculum. The last part of the project will end in April next year.
