22 million baht budget spent on improving Maejo highway safety

CityNews – Maejo highway is under construction for better road safety with a 22 million baht budget set.

Construction is underway for the highway 1001 near Maejo University area according to a project of Highway Department 1, Chiang Mai Office which aims to elevate safety on the highway. According to the report, at least 5,000 cars travel through this highway daily and about 15% of them are big heavy trucks. The budget for this maintenance is set at 22 million baht. It is planned to be finished by October 16th this year.

Other two areas are also designated in this maintenance project which are highway 107 in Khi Lek Luang community budget and and highway 1317 in Don Chan with 20 million baht budget each.
