U.S. Ambassador visits Governor of Chiang Mai.

U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, H.E. Glyn T. Davies, paid a courtesy call with Chiang Mai Governor, Supachai Lamsuwan. The Chiang Mai’s Consul General Jennifer A. Harhigh also attended the high-level talks.  Following the meeting, the Ambassador held a press conference with local media discussing many topics including the new Consulate General’s Office to be built within the next 5 years.  Just what economic impact is the new consulate campus expected to have on Chiang Mai?
