Press Conference Lanna Expo 2018

The Governor of Chiang Mai Pawin Chamniprasart held a press conference to announce the Lanna Expo 2018 will take place from 22 June until 1^st July 2018 at the Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre. Opening hours Monday – Friday 10am until 8pm and Saturday – Sunday 10am until 9pm. Lanna Expo 2018 theme is ‘Lanna Arts & Wisdom; Create the value of Sustainable Thainess’. The event goal is to showcase world cultures, international products and promote cultural exchange and opportunities for international education and tourism. Last year 22 countries participated in the 3-day event that attracted over 180,000 visitors. Lanna Expo will feature many OTOP porducts from the Northern Thailand. In the evenings there will be concerts from top Thai singers to entertain guests. A long side Lanna Expo 2018 there will be the Chiang Mai World Fair and the Wellness and Thai Massage Convention.  On June 22 Chiang Mai Sundowners hosted by AustCham Thailand and Australian Alumni – at Leelawadee 1 Room, Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre – part of the opening of World Fair – Time: 17.30 – 21.00 (Last drink served at 20.30) Cost:  Baht 550 for AustCham members, partner Chambers’ members, and Australian Alumni Members / and Baht 800 for non-members and all walk-ins – includes cocktail-style food, and free-flow beer, wine, soft drinkshttp://www.austchamthailand.com/event-2939047 The press conference was held at U Nimman Convention Centre.
