AirAsia ‘Thank You’ Lunch at X2 Riverside

AirAsia ‘thank you to the local media’ lunch at X2 Riverside Chiang Mai. Surapun Homkajorn, the Station Manager Chiang Mai told Citylife AirAsia had 3.5 million passengers in 2017 to/from Chiang Mai, domestic and international. Their target for 2018 is 3.8 million passengers, 86% of capacity. Currently they have 5 aircraft stationed overnight in Chiang Mai and as of 24 March 2018 it will increase to 6 aircraft. AirAsia has 35 flights a day to/from Chiang Mai reaching 13 destinations (5 international and 8 domestic. They are planning to increase the service to Krabi and Khon Kaen in the near future. Surapun also explained he wishes to promote the Self Check-In Kiosk and Auto Bag Drop which is hoped to decrease the amount of waiting in line at the ticket counters.
