Fresh Food Facelift & Horeca Day
Makro (Superhighway branch) had launched the newly renovated fresh food zone and the One Stop Shopping service for cafés and bakery. Highlighted activities include a cooking demonstration by Chef May from Top Chef Thailand who won a gold medal from Western Hot Cooking Professional Competition In HOFEX 2013 and Chef Tee who won a national competition at Makro Horeca Challenge 2017.

Istanbul Connection at Thapae East
Istanbul Connection at Thapae East Venue for Creative Artists. Istanbul Connection is a Bay Area musical collective formed in 2015 when 13 members of the hottest Balkan and Latin bands were gravitationally pulled to visit the city of Istanbul. They continue to draw their inspiration from the Turkish Maqam, Flamenco, Rumba, Balkan, and Cumbia they are are so deeply rooted in. Old school Balkan Latin folk music in a funky Bay Area context. Mercy Centre is a shelter for street kids, five orphanages, a hospice, a home for mothers and children with HIV/AIDS

Art Auction Concerto at Akyra Manor Hotel
Art Auction Concerto at Akyra Manor Hotel –a fundraising charity event for the Pure Blue Foundation. Art Auction Jazz Concerto comprised of works by Vachira Thomas and the award-winning artisans Hongsara Janput and Angkan Uppanun, founders of the highly-praised filigree jewellery brand Angsa and well-known local and national artists as well as talented students from Chiang Mai University, Fine arts department. All profits will be donated to Pure Blue Foundation to support the Baan Panghai school in Mae Rim
Chiang Mai International Rotary Club (CMIRC) Children’s Water Safety and Drowning Prevention Certificate Ceremony at Wat Sri Don Chai Municipal School. 168 students from 5 schools received certificates and a medal as part of the Children’s Water Safety and Drowning Prevention Program

Opening reception of Hearts to Hands at Baan Tuek Art Center on Thapae road.
From Hearts to Hands exhibition invites it s audience to explore different art pieces from 6 different artists, different contexts, different techniques, different inspirations – but friendship kept driving their hearts and presenting art pieces made from their hands.
Artists include Peerapan Tungsuwan, Thummanit Phuvasatien, Pawana Prakobsuk, Wichaya Chaiprasit, Sainamphung Vanichmongkol and Kavi Singhanetr
The exhibition is on display from 10am until 6pm daily (except Mondays) until 2 January 2018. Closed Sunday 31 December 2018.

Chiang Mai Step by Step with Toon Bodyslam
Over 6,000 people joined a minimarathon in supporting Toon Bodyslam’s charity run, Step by Step for 11 hospitals. Hosted by Nakornping Hospital, the event has raised over 3.8 million baht which will be donated when Toon arrives at Mae Sai, Chiang Rai.
