CityNews – Police dispose of two grenade launchers rounds found at an antique store on the Thai – Myanmar border in Mae Sai on October 6.
The two grenade rounds, one 40 cm long, the other 20cm long, were discovered by the owner of the antique store who had been collecting electronics and junk for over a year.
When he found the grenade rounds, he immediately informed the police fearing they could explode if moved.
The police disposed of the grenade rounds and reported that if exploded, could destroy an area up to 10m wide.
Police believe the rounds to belong to M16 or KH guns.
