The project involves people cycling 32 kilometres, from City Hall, around Chiang Mai towards the Night Safari and back again on August 16, to celebrate mother’s day which is on August 12.

Governor Suriya Prasatbundit visited the registration centre and was encouraged by the number of people, asking all who registered to bring their own bike.

People can register online at www.phayao.go.th/bikeformom but it may still be temporarily down at certain times of high traffic. To register in person, visit the Damrongtham Centre at Chiang Mai City Hall or call 053 112592.

People must complete registration before August 9.
