CityNews – November 30th, soldiers from the 33rd Military Circle donated 1,500 blankets to residents who have been affected by the cold in Omkoi district.
120 life aid bags with medicines were distributed too.
Every year Om Koi District is declared to be an emergency area due to cold weather.
According to surveys, 15,000 residents have recently faced problems from a lack of blankets and clothes to prevent them from the cold.
The temperature in the area has been lower than 15 degrees Celsius.
