CityNews – On July 22nd, police were called to Doi Kham temple after a caretaker discovered the large metal box that collects monetary offerings broken into with many coins scattered on the floor and most of the contents gone.
The caretaker, Nopporn Khamfoo, discovered the box in the morning, at the pavilion of Queen Chamadevi.
CCTV reviewed by police shows three men, two where were skinny and one who was overweight, breaking into the box after spending an hour walking around the temple with their faces covered.
Police believe the three men chose last night to rob the temple as it was raining, so nobody was outside at the time to catch them in the act.
