CityNews — Police Region 5 released a statement detailing the arrest of 64-year-old Kawee Reeweerakul, the owner of Nakhornping Centre, located in the Chang Moi area, and seized 576 items of counterfeit football shirts, valued at 347,200 baht.
After receiving tip-offs that Nakornping Centre had sold the counterfeit football shirts, the police went to the premises with a search warrant issued by the Chiang Mai Provincial Court and searched the store.
The store displayed legal products on the first floor, but counterfeit items were being displayed for sale on the second floor.
Kawee admitted to his crime, and awaits prosecution.
