CityNews – Around 9am on the 6th October, police were called about a shooting on the road between Baan Tazala and Padad, in Tung Ruang Thong sub district, Mae Wang.
The police and rescue service arrived at the scene to find a seriously injured man sitting in an Izusu pickup truck. Insorn Kaewloon, 58, from Mae Wang, was rushed to Maharaj Hospital for immergency surgery to remove a bullet. He was shot in his chin, in both arms and had some injury to his right eye due to glass shards.
Insorn is a contractor and was driving home down a dark stretch of the road when a hail of bullets riddled his car, hitting him multiple times. Police suspect that the reason for this attack was personal, saying that it may have been because of conflict with work related issues or that he had a fight with someone. They also said that it was possible that he had love-related issues. However, they said that they must wait for him to be recovered enough first to find out more details in order to investigate matters further.
