CityNews – Following reports of a tour bus that crashed head on into a van carrying school children before crashing into a building on a junction in Lampang, police have released another statement claiming that three people have now died from the collision.
Reports yesterday left the death toll at one, but has now been updated to three after a woman died from her injuries in hospital.
43-year-old Gaen Gitkom from Sakorn Nakhon and 34-year-old Vietnamese tourist Mr. Pham Van Dong, both passengers on the tour bus, died at the scene.
65-year-old Ms Petsri Krachangchan from Lampang died in hospital shortly after the collision. She was also a passenger on the tour bus.
So far no other deaths have been reported, but some people who were involved in the collision remain in hospital.
