Kwan Vieng Buses Expand Routes

CityNews – The Kwan Vieng bus routes, that started on April 22, 2016, say that after four months of service, more and more people are using their buses, reducing traffic around Chiang Mai.

After four months, the bus service has expanded and now covers three routes, B1 (yellow or blue bus), B2 (yellow or blue bus), and Por.10 (Pink bus).

Route B1 

Arcade Bus Station Chiang Mai – Thong Hotel Rd. – Chiang Mai Train Station – Charoen Muang Rd. – San Pa Khoi Market – Nawarat Bridge – Tha Pae Gate – Klang Wiang Intersection – Chiang Mai Police Station – Wat Phra Sing Temple – Wattanothai Payap School – Suan Dok Hospital – Chiangmai Neurological Hospital – Ton Payom Market – Chiang Mai University Gate of PTT gas station – Chiang Mai Phukham Hotel – Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna – Chiang Mai Zoo.

Buses on Route B1 run every 40 minutes from 6am to 6pm (Saturday – Sunday will run out every 60 minutes).

Route B2 

Arcade Bus Station Chiang Mai – Kaew Nawarat Rd. – Dara Academy Chiang Mai – Mccormick Hospital – The Prince Royal’s College – Nakhon Ping Bridge – Warorot Market – Phutthasan Intersection – Tha Pae Gate – Yupparaj Wittayalai School – Chiang Mai Vocational College – Chiang Mai Technical College – Wat Phra Sing Temple – Northern Region School for the Blind – Ku Hueang Corner – Nong Buak Hat Park – Chiang Mai Gate – Wua Lai Rd. – Airport Intersection – Central Plaza Chiang Mai Airport – Chiang Mai International Airport.

Buses on Route B2 run every 40 minutes from 6am to 6pm (Saturday – Sunday will run out every 60 minutes).

Route Por.10

Kwan Vieng Village – Makro Hang Dong – Chiangmai Provincial Land Transport Office – Lotus Hang Dong – Chiang Mai Airport Plaza – International Chiang Mai Airport – The Far Eastern University – Wattanothai Payap School – Suan Dok Hospital – Huarin Corner – Changpuak Gate – Chiang Mai Vocational College – Three Kings Monument – Yupparaj Wittayalai School – Somphet Market – Warorot Market – Phutthasan Intersection – Night Bazaar Chiang Mai – Pantip Plaza – Sangtawan Intersection – The Empress Hotel – Montfort College Primary Section – Sacred Heart College – Regina Coeli College – Wat Chai Mongkol Temple – Sangtawan Intersection – Ka Tam Corner – Chiang Mai Gate – Wua Lai Rd. – Airport Intersection – and back to Kwan Vieng Village.

Buses on Route Bor.10 run every 20 minutes from 5.30am to 8.30pm.

The price for routes B1 and B2 is 15 baht one way, and 10 baht for students, monks and it is free for the disabled.

The Por.10 route is 20 baht one way, and 15 baht for students, monks and it is free for the disabled.
