CityNews – June 18, police from region 5 arrested 12 immigrant labourers found illegally working in the kingdom.
In accordance to the Alien Working Act, the police randomly inspected construction sites in Chiang Mai’s Nong Kaew, Tha Wang Tan, and Tha Sa La sub-districts.
Ten of the illegal immigrants are from Burma and the other two are Shan.
They all will be prosecuted.
