On 30th November 2016, at the Provincial Hall, all parties sat down to sign an MOU witnessed by numerous government officials from various departments. The three districts will be divided into three zones – forestry, agriculture and community. In each area, during the 20 weeks of the project, there will be meetings held to disseminate information on the harms of burning, offering information on how to replace burning with other methods, how to adjust crops as well as to publicise penalties, as well as enforcement of them, when people break the no burning ban.

CP has pledged to reiterate the laws to all of its farmers who supply them with corn for animal feeds.
