CityNews – November 30th, Police Major General Pitaya Sirirak, acting Deputy Commissioner General of Provincial Police Region 5 led the funeral of 23- year-old, Police Lance Corporal Siriyut Noiarun who was killed in a drug shootout this week (http://www.chiangmaicitylife.com/news/police-killed-in-drug-bust-shootout/).
The funeral procession moved from Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital to Chang Klan Cemetery and was attended by many officers, family members, friends and mourners.
The police are still searching for the shooter, Prasert Laolee and his wife, Suthasinee Saenor by helicopter and searching in the surrounding villages of Mae Malai.
Prasert had previously been arrested for 50,000 yaba pills at Chiang Dao District and was set free in July this year.
