Flight of the Gibbon Plants 6,000 Trees in Chiang Mai

CityNews – Flight of the Gibbon, the leader of canopy tour and zipline, established a reforestation project that is now very successful. The director of conservation department Mr.Demis Gelli has vowed to continue this wonderful project to expand the re-forested areas.

On 2nd July 2016, Flight of the Gibbon arranged a restoration project where 6,000 trees from over 38 species were planted in Baan Mae Kampong and Mae-On. There was a lot of interest from both volunteers, government and private organization from Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Officers from the Forest Restoration Research Unit (FORRU) in Chiang Mai University, also lended a hand in helping plant the trees.
