CityNews – A car overturned after crashing into a 100 year old Yang tree on the Chiang Mai – Lamphun, injuring five people including the driver, Sergeant Major Pirat Punperm.
A video of the accident was shared on social media, with comments warning people to drive carefully and keep their speeds low on roads such as these.
Driver Sergeant Major Pirat Punperm, a woman and three children were taken to hospital after the accident.
Local residents were also seen in the video to rush and help, breaking the windows and helping the injured family out of the car.
Police report the accident happened in front of Baan Gong Sai School, Saraphee.
