CityNews – According to Manager Online, due to residents’ preparation for the Bike for Mom project which will take place on August 16, bicycle sales are seeing a spike in sales.
Both new and used bicycle shops are reporting that their sales have increased as more residents plan to participate in the nation-wide event.
According to Mallika Seelawongseree, 27, the owner of a second-hand bicycle shop on Chotana road, after the Bike for Mom event was promoted, her shop’s sales have increased by around 20 – 30 percent.
Most shoppers are families and teenagers. Mountain bicycles, starting at around 2,000 baht depending on condition and brand, are the most popular sale among her customers, added Mallika.
