CityNew – 17 September, one year and eight months old Phutawan Suphawan who suffers from hydrocephalus, a conditioned diagnosed when he was four months in the womb, has received help from the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Chiang Mai.
Officials visited the boy, whose head has swollen to over 100 cms in circumference due to excess water in the brain, and donated pampers as well as 2,000 baht. Not only that, authorities are looking to train the 31 year old mother in vocational skills so that she can work from home, earning a living while being able to care or her child.
The mother thanks the generosity of the public, whose continuous stream of donations has afforded her to care for her son and pay all necessary bills.
