CityNews – A house near Wat Pa Ngew was destroyed after a fire broke out in the early hours of the morning on September 15.
The house, in Tha Wang Tan Sub-district was the home to 78-year-old Duangchan Hingoei who was resting outside when the fire broke out.
As the house was partly made of wood, it didnt take long to fully burn to the ground. All of his belongings were destroyed.
Fire crews spent roughly 30 minutes putting out the fire before it spread to neighbouring homes.
The damages are estimated at over 100,000 baht. Police believe the fire started from a short circuit as Duangchang said that he had never changed the wires.
Forensics are investigating further.
