7-Eleven Attack Victim Asks Police To Help See Justice Served

CityNews – A woman who was attacked by a couple in a 7-Eleven in the Doi Lo district on April 5, submitted documents to Region 5 Police on June 20, asking for justice.

43-year-old Nawapat Tipracha was attacked by 22-year-old Sarawan Techasuk and 29-year-old Pattarapon Jaisaen, leaving her jaw and teeth so damaged she needed surgery.

According to Nawapat, the couple have yet to contact her and take responsibility for the incident.

Now, two months later, no progress has been made on the case.

Two days ago she was summoned by Doi Lo police who are responsible for the case, to acknowledge that she began arguing with Sarawan.

However, Nawapat told police that the CCTV footage that went viral on social media, clearly shows that she was a victim to a violent attack.

Nawapat belives that no progress has been made on the case due to the father of the attacker, Pattarapon, who holds a senior police ranking in Tak province.

She brought a photo and video evidence of the incident and presented it to Police Major General Pacha Rattanapan, the deputy commissioner of Provincial Police Region 5, asking for justice to be served.

Police Major General Pacha Rattanapan promised to examine the case and uphold justice for all parties involved.
