CityNews – Pa Tan community has set up a 24 hours public fitness park in a cemetery.
A public fitness centre set up by the committee of Muang Lung Community has made headline in local media as it is located in a cemetery. The cemetery gym has been operated since August 1st this year. It is open 24 hour a day and well-equipped with proper lights during the night. Surakiat Kamchan, the fitness supervisor revealed that the fitness area was established under a 200,000 baht budget received from the government’s Thai Niyom Yangyuen (Sustainable Thainess) project. The fitness centre serves three communities in Pa Ta district including Muang Luan, Ban Thor and Pa Tan community. He added that there have not been any reports concerning paranormal activity in the area.
A 31 year old user revealed that he and his family have been a frequent visitor and are reportedly pleased with the service as it is conveniently near his home and free of charge.
