Discover the beliefs, customs and culture of northern Thai people in the past with Tamarind Village’s latest exhibition ‘Traces of a Lost Kingdom’. The exhibition is open daily from 9am to 8pm through 28th February, 2018 at Tamarind Village Chiang Mai.
The exhibition presents various techniques of painting on 50×70 cm size of papers, from 12 Artists from Painting Division, Chiang Mai University together with 15 Artists from Painting Department, Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa, Poland and their student’s works.
The annual film festival by The Japan Foundation, Bangkok, will be held in four different regions. In Chiang Mai, the opening film will be The Long Excuse (2016) at 7pm. Afterwards Multiple films will be on screen throughout the day from 2pm. 80 baht per ticket.
In 2010, Ronnarong Khampha (dancer), Maneerat Rattanang (singer), and Neti Phikroh (painter) did a collaborative show called “Before 30.” Since then seven years have passed and they are back for their new collaborative project called Seven Years Later.

Almost every dish is somehow decorated with a bear, be it a scoop of ice cream with chocolate eyes and ears, a silhouette of a bear in a side of coco powder or as a pancake with ears and a cute button nose.
