INTERNATIONAL FIREWORK CONTEST

The Chiang Mai Province and the Ministry of Defence are arranging an International Fireworks Contest to celebrate the 84th birthday of His Majesty the King of Thailand. This event will not only feature international contestants, but also Thais, some of them from government circles. The international contestants will be from among other countries the USA, Australia, Denmark and China. The show contains seven performances stretching through seven hours. The show is likely to become the best of its kind in Asia, showing for instance special Heart Fireworks which are visible from a 2 kilometres distance.
