Karaoke is for (nearly) everyone, as long as you find the right venue. Private, public or even impromptu, we’ve got you covered.

The Goodview Village Restaurant & Karaoke

Bring your posse and take out a luxe room to lounge in for the evening. Sing along to all sorts of tunes in a sound proof private room while being served great Thai and international food. Also, it’s got a fun disco atmosphere for putting a glide in your stride, and a dip in you hip!

Open 5pm – 1am
402 Moo 2, Mae Hia Road

Country Road

This ex-caf? now karaoke joint is only open for group bookings, but there is no rental fee and food can be made to order, in whatever style you fancy. A well-stocked Karaoke programme leads the night, but YouTube is available for those looking for some more obscure tunes.

Loco Elvis

Whether you want to check your rap skills or sing boozy anthems, there’s an open aired sing along bar waiting for you to own it. After dinner, this place turns into a lively karaoke bar where you can have fun with your friends and meet new people…not for the shy and retiring.

Maldives Old School 90s

The Maldives has gone 90s, and with that are some dubiously themed karaoke rooms to go with. Book into a Victorian style VIP room, Football themed room or even a Coyote room (with a pole!) and sing along till 1am. They even have mobile apps that let you control the line-up from your smartphone!

Open 6pm – 1am

Chic Ka-Ra

A typical cheap and cheerful karaoke venue, they provide karaoke rooms in different sizes to accommodate small and large groups. Mainly Thai songs, but also the usual popular western and Korean.

EX 10 Karaoke & Games

If you find yourself walking around the mall and have a yearning to break out into song, just find a ten-baht coin, go to a coin operated karaoke machine and belt it out. This is karaoke for loners.

Open daily from 11am – 10pm
Maya Lifestyle Shopping Centre, Floor 5

20 Karaoke

Okay, we are not endorsing anything of the kind here, but a karaoke list in Thailand is not complete without something a little more, ahem, private. Most places like that will end up ripping you off but from what we have heard, this place is a safe bet.
