Smokey Season set menu for March by L’éléphant

The weather is warming up and summer is upon us…as is the smoke. Luckily L’éléphant may have just the answer to help you cool down and give you an excuse to get out of the stifling heat. Introducing the Smokey Season French Lunch Set for just 470 baht, guaranteed to help you cool down.

LeLephantFeb2018-25 This special set menu includes appetisers, main dishes and sweets, with between five and seven dishes to choose from in each section. Each set menu is paired with warm, crispy French bread served with the best butter.

In addition to this steal of a price, L’éléphant will also charge for just three set menus when you order four or more.

However, we understand that sometimes it can be hard to make it to a fancy restaurant at lunchtime which is why L’éléphant is also offering a Smokey Season Dinner Menu for just 1,280 baht that has an even larger array of appetisers, main dishes and sweets.

Recommended Dishes from the Smokey Season menu:
For starters, try the Caesar salad which is packed full of fresh crispy greens with delicious homemade dressing, or the homemade French onion soup topped with comté cheese for a delicate but intense flavour.

Dive into the mains by picking the signature ox-tongue stew, slowly cooked with red wine over a six hour period to ensure the most tender meat every time, served with seasonal vegetables. For fish lovers, tuck into the grilled sea bass in tarragon lemon butter sauce made with the freshest Thai sea bass and grilled to perfection creating crispy skin with soft and tender meat. The tuna brik, marinated tuna eggs in filo puff pastry, is one of our very favourites.

If, after all those delicious recommendations, you still have space for a sweet dessert then indulge in a dark chocolate mousse with cherry liquor, made with 58% dark chocolate and mixed with marinated cherries and orange liqueur. For the more traditional French food fans out there, make sure you choose the panna cotta infused with mango and delicate butterfly pea honey – a truly scrumptious end to a fantastic meal.
